Pretty Little Liars' Social Media Dominance: No Signs Of Slowing Down
The 100th episode of ABC’s Family’s hit Pretty Little Liars (PLL) is set to air on Tuesday, July 8, and the teen murder mystery is showing no signs of slowing down.
The show’s Twitter TWTR -7.01% account has 2.25 million followers. Compare that to 963,000 for Breaking Bad, 1.77 million for Game of Thrones, 194,000 for Mad Men, 325,000 for Girls, and 204,000 for ABC’s The Bachelor. AMC’s The Walking Dead is right up there with PLL, with 2.55 million followers. Both shows are consistently ranked in the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings (NTTR) Weekly Top Ten Series and Specials list top 10, and this week, once again, Pretty Little Liars came out on top with 196,000 Tweets seen by a Unique Audience ADNC -1.11% of 2.6 million people.
